Wedding Featured on Platinum Weddings
5 Comments by admin January 28th, 2009 in Publications, Studio News, WeddingSheila and Santosh Reddy’s wedding story is going to be featured on weTV‘s Platinum Weddings this Sunday at 9:00 (central time)!
We had the privilege to shoot their wedding here in Houston a few months back. They invited over 900 guests and, working with wedding planner Jo Ann Woodward, threw two HUGE parties over the weekend. The first party, traditionally called the Sangeet, was held at the Hilton Houston Post Oak and belly dancers entertained the guests until Sheila and Santosh’s friends performed a reinactment of the couples love story. The next day, the wedding was held at the The Hilton Americas downtown. While Sheila was finishing getting ready, Santosh rode in on an elephant through downtown to meet her! The couple and the guests then spent the evening in the ballrooms which had been beautifully decorated by Elegant Affairs, Who Made the Cake!, and Wedding Flowers by Lisa. Here is a brief look at their story, and check them out this Sunday to see the whole beautiful weekend!

Chloe turned 1 last week, and we got the chance to hang out with her on her big day. Her parents Fay and Salim invited all the friends and family over and threw her a colorful Care Bears party. The guests were entertained by visits from Happy Heart the clown and Share Bear, the yellow care bear. Happy Birthday Chloe!

Phillip & Arwen Wedding in Houston Brides
1 Comment by admin January 22nd, 2009 in Publications, Studio News, WeddingPhillip and Arwen’s beautiful wedding is featured in this seasons Houston Brides magazine, published by Modern Luxury. Here is the article as well as our favorites! After a ceremony at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, the couple celebrated with their guests at the Hilton Houston Post Oak. Darryl & Co turned the ballroom into a gorgeous lounge environment for everyone to hang out in while they enjoyed the coffee, tea, and smoothies from Texas Java Co., and breakfast tacos from Chachos.
Sarah was a real trooper! she layed in the gravel while freezing her rear off, jumped in a concrete doughnut, and gladly climbed through blades of grass as tall as she was all while dealing with me making some really goofy faces in front of her. I don’t know who was more excited about the pictures turning out? I think I was after seeing the amount of fun she had, but then there was also that awesome warm sunset that came through the clouds towards the end of our session! I do know we look forward to covering the next few years. Thanks again and Happy Birthday!

John and Sarah click together in such an easy going way, their chemistry made this engagement shoot incredibly easy. This couple really knows how to shine!

Andy and Swagata had a truly one of a kind wedding at the Safari Texas Ranch Ballroom, blending together both Chinese and Indian cultures. The wedding can be summed up as colorful, festive, unique, and just overall a blast to shoot!

We shot Ashley’s Bridal at the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church which is also where she will be getting married at. The arches and details at the church were so rustic and majestic looking, it’s almost like Ashley’s a princess waiting for her prince. We can’t wait to shoot the wedding in February!
