The February issue of HTexas Magazine featured some fantastic restaurants around Houston. We got the opportunity to hang out with Tony Elsinga, Sommelier at the Tasting Room wine bar in Uptown Park, and shoot some portraits and a couple incredible looking dishes. Leah Faye wrote an article for the magazine highlighting some of Tony’s choices for this season.  Shooting a wine bar always has a great ending as we got to spend the afternoon chatting with Tony about the wines he treated us with and Houston wine dining in general.

When Kat and Jason came over to the studio for their engagement session, we decided we would go explore some new parts of downtown.  We stopped by a new favorite park Discovery Green and then explored the south side warehouse district, finding some beautiful light shining over the sky line.  Kat and Jason are two amazing individuals that met during high school. Their personalities fit together so well, and we had an incredible time hanging out.
