Everyone is thinking back to school, back to sports, and back to some much needed routine (hopefully). And so are we! Over the last couple of months, we have been able to hang out with some incredible kids and capture their style and what makes them fun, smart, creative, athletic, artsy, energetic, and, well, themselves. We had a great time hanging out with Aaron and Michelle. We asked them if they might be up for trying some new things, and they totally were! We ended up having a very eventful session exploring some new locations and trying to buy ourselves a few more moments from downtown security guards (who weren’t as cordial as we had hoped, but we’re not haters). Enjoy!

We have to applaud John and Katy for how they turned a hot summer Houston day into an incredible wedding! They had a beautiful ceremony at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and then treated everyone to a dinner and party at Champions Golf Club. Grady Gaines and the Texas Upsetters are one of the best jazz bands in Houston and certainly one of the best for events. John and Katy are so much fun to hang out with, and they were surrounded by a lot of fun friends and family. The country club took care of all the flowers and reception decorations (making it super easy for busy brides!), and they cake was from Virginia’s Cakes. Enjoy John and Katy’s day!

Monica and Gary make us so happy! Seriously we had an incredible day with them and they certainly maximized how they used their coverage. We started early with the girls getting ready downtown, then met the guys out in Sugar Land. The couple had a beautiful ceremony at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and then everybody headed back downtown to the always gorgeous Crystal Ballroom.

Monica and Gary are one of those incredible pairs that bring out the best in each other. Whether they are dancing to “I Wear My Sunglasses At Night” or taking a break outside as the sun sets, they are comfortable and seem to love being together. We got to spend the afternoon with Brett and Anna Joy in Birmingham. They are good friends of ours, and had a great time grabbing some ice cream and exploring the street.  It’s such a beautiful city, and we certainly helped ourselves to ample amounts of sweet tea before we left.
